who am i?
my MissioN
I have always had a passion for creating community and fostering connections. By creating space for others to collaborate and share their expertise, we allow everyone to contribute, grow and feel welcomed.
For 20 years, I have been an active member of the community, donating my time, and expertise to causes that are important to me.
Currently I work for the City of St. Catharines as the Recreation Program Co-ordinator where I oversee dryland recreation programs for all ages and abilities. In this position I have fostered positive working relationships with a number of community partners including the Haig Neighbours, Fitzgerald Neighborhood Association, Ontario Cycling, Pickleball Ontario, Golf Canada, and the Brock Niagara Penguins Parasport Program. It has been my goal to increase facility usage, build strong community partnerships, give residents a voice in their local community centres, and provide strategic leadership to community partners.
Additionally I have been recognized as both a YMCA Peace Medal Recipient, and as a 40 Under 40 Niagara Recipient
